Dragon Telepathy

Lance is able to read the minds of, and communicate telepathically, with dragons. This includes not just traditional dragons, but any character that has some sort of dragon blood in them, or is part dragon, or has characteristics of a dragon. This also extends to creatures that are dragon-like in nature, and because of silly Pokemon logic, anything that may resemble a dragon or have dragon in its name. This would include things such as certain dinosaurs, some reptiles, and things like dragonflies or leafy sea dragons. 

In addition to this, he is also able to control the dragons/creatures that he can communicate with. Meaning that he can control the mind of any creature/character that falls into the categories listed above and bend them to his will. The mind control portion would take Lance consciously willing it and would not be automatic in his presence. He is most likely not to use this power unless a need necessitates it. 

Though in the cases of player characters it may only succeed with player consent, and can possibly fail ICly if the player does not wish it to happen.

Finn here is dragonborn, meaning he has dragon blood and a dragon soul.

I am 100% okay with Lance communicating telepathically with him and also the mind control.

Draconians are the children of dragons warped by magic, so he definitely counts. Telepathic communication is A-okay, but I'd like for any attempts at mind control to fail. He does have a very strong will save, after all.

If you wanna go full stupid "why the fuck not" with this: Ruka's name is written with the kanji for dragon, and so her name... is technically something like "authentic dragon" or "verified dragon" or (my favorite) "yes, it's a dragon", because that's how anime works sometimes. (she's a human but tl;dr it's the yugioh where the main god is a dragon and fuckin everything else is also dragons.)

I've honestly not watched the Yu-Gi-Oh! series past the first two at all pfft. I'm a huge Seto Kaiba fan and once he was out of the picture I lost interest lol. So excuse my canon blindness.

oh yeah don't worry about it, i never expect anyone to be familiar with the spinoffs. canon familiarity is completely unnecessary.

but yeah!! I'm down for it. this is especially funny to me bc in-game, she's had a couple run-ins with being possessed (and losing her memory fitting the possessions), so getting some jerk in her head or being puppeted for. whatever it winds up being will just get something like "god this is so exhausting" as a reaction. she is so tired.

but yeah I'm pretty open to anything so just lmk if/when you have any Ideas

Fortunately Lance isn't much of a jerk! XD So there's that. If anything it'll probably happen accidentally pfft. He's still getting used to these powers and getting control of them.

But this sounds like fun. I'm looking forward to it. XD
